    What did you try?
I guess you can build it from source:

    # yum install gcc make wget httpd
    # wget http://sourceforge.net/projects/sarg/files/sarg/sarg-2.3.10/sarg-2.3.10.tar.gz/download
    # tar zxvf sarg-2.3.10.tar.gz
    # cd sarg-2.3.10
    # ./configure
    # make
    # make install

    @Carl,
Roundcube users are kept in system-mysql rather than flat file. New users are created (by Roundcube) automatically when they log in. If you expect the user's name and other data to be copied over then I would have thought it was a Roundcube bug or feature request rather than a ClearOS issue. However I could be wrong.

    Hello -

What are the main differences between Clear OS 7 Home and Business? Are there any restrictions or limitations with regards to speed/performance on the home version? I have a 300M by 300M connection at my home and want to make sure the Home version doesn't have some kind of speed/restriction that would impact my speed. Eventually I hope to get 1G/1G speed.

    Thanks!

Roundcube App not installing from Marketplace [Solved]

    Thanks Ben!

The app is up and running although the integration seems a little rough-edged at this stage. Users (fullname and email address) are not transposed into it so I had to do that manually. Not a problem whilst testing but I couldn't locate a config file in /etc so I am unable to provide additional info.

Btw, that should not have been necessary...you should have EPEL enabled (not everyone should follow this advice)...

    yum-config-manager enable clearos-epel

You should run that command because:

    1. You're running Community 7
    2. You registered your server as a re-install atop an older system, so we don't add you to the 30 day verified updates (epel included) repos.

We were working on some bugs a few weeks back where your system seems to have been left with EPEL disabled...as you have found, there are a few apps with dependencies that require that repo.

    B.

I'll get that fixed...for now, if you run:

    yum --enablerepo=clearos-contribs-testing install app-roundcubemail

    It should complete the install.

Also you can't "downgrade" to liberation-fonts-common = 1:1.07.2-14.el7 because 'liberation-fonts-common-1:1.07.2-15.el7.noarch (current) is needed by liberation-sans-fonts-1:1.07.2-15.el7.noarch. I'm sure the list goes on.

I am coming back to ClearOS from Zentyal. Have installed the the RC and have tried to join my computers to the domain however it is saying my domain could not be contacted (DNS name does not exist).

When I previously used ClearOS a few years ago I had to change some registry settings, does that still apply to this version even though it's now based on Samba4?

By the way Im using Windows 10 if that's any help?

    Thanks :)

Zarafa community edition is completely broke in RC1. It will not install from the market place. You can install the packages with yum but they look like the default ones that come with centos 7.

Hi Fredrik. Could you try using a different browser? I personally never seem to have much luck with even the basics in CUPS.

I have tried with Edge (Windows 10) and Chrome (Android) and I get the same behaviour. I can access the CUPS intro page, but as soon as I try to access the "admin parts", like pressing the "Add Printer" button nothing happens. If I press "Add printer" about 3-4 times very rapidly, it will serve me the "add printer page", however when I try to click continue I get back to the overview page again (without any change made).

I did see similar behaviour in ClearOS 6,and by disabling the authentication to the admin-parts I could get it to work. In ClearOS 7, the "authentication failure" stops coming when I do this, however it still will not serve me the pages...

Am I the only person who is trying to use CUPS around here? Have anyone actually got this to work in ClearOS 7?

The mail server is attempting to deliver a message to the local IMAP server (via LMTP / port 2003). I assume there's no IMAP server installed and that would definitely lead to the "connection refused" error. Take a look at the SMTP Server app settings and make sure Mail Domain and Mail Hostname are set to something other than any domain used in an e-mail address.

    Like upgrading 6.6 to 7.

The in-place upgrade might sound simple at first, but unfortunately it's a very long and convoluted process -- see the Red Hat Howto for details. By the looks of the warning at the top of the CentOS documentation on this topic, it looks like the CentOS upgrade tool is unfinished -- see this doc.

I don't think we're going to spend much in the way of time and resources on this upgrade path. It feels like a lot more work to upgrade than it does to do a clean installation. Keep in mind, we hope to have the Configuration Backup app supporting the import of ClearOS 6 configurations in the near future.

Yes, you should be able to use samba 4 AD server with ClearOS. This is relatively new and there are some interplay that is likely going to need tweaking.

Is that in the web interface or do you need to do this via cli? Would the profesional version work via web interface if not?

I cannot answer for Zarafa or the intrusion updates...

But Serviio certainly works ;) , with more functionality than in ClearOS 6. (An update for ClearOS 6 is in the works, but I need more feedback before releasing that one)

When I in the installation wizard came to the last step with the setup of the ClearOS dashboard, I selected "default" and choose "RAID status" in the top middle position.

This made me wonder what I was doing "wrong" if the "top middle position" was selectable for Fred. Well, using Pale Moon is the issue! Thus I went to IE/Edge and am able to use more than just the first column on the Dashboard. I didn't expect that. Is it a FireFox issue too?

After clearing the column and selecting default setup for the Dashboard only the widgets I had not previously selected were available and none of those that were used previously were visible on the dropdown list.

Since CentOS 7 will support In-PLace Upgrades will ClearOS 7.1 support it as well.

    Like upgrading 6.6 to 7.

I have a lot of files stored on my 6.6 I do not have the time to transfer everything off reinstall fresh and then transfer stuff back on.

an In-place upgrade is all I can do or I am stuck until the system breaks which could be a long time.

    Hi,
I installed BackupPC (from clearos-contribs-testing) and it seems to work OK with backups and restoring of files.

I have also tried to trouble shoot cups without any luck. I can access the cups page and view the printer jobs etc. However, I CANNOT access any of the administrative sub-pages to add new printers or change any settings. In ClearOS webconfig I can see errors of type: Authentication failure for user xxxx..." each time I try to open any of the admin-related cups pages. I have tried to change just about all the /etc/cups/* conf-files, but without any luck. I am stuck.

    /Fred

After update to 7.3 beta mail filtering stopped working. I then went ahead and installed 7.1 RC and then configured for mail filtering again for my exchange server.

I know all i have to to do is install smtp from market and configure smtp with domain and then ip address also change the mail domain to use different domain than domain i am trying to filter. Then open port 25 threw firewall. I still have clearos 6 as a virtual machine and the filtering works.
yesterday my filtering was working so the updates install on the 26th are causing the problems.
If i port forward port 25 to my email server and close the 25 port on incomming than my email works fine.
Here are some of the logs.
