Hi clickwir
Since you are not the first to report this, assuming that you are also still using CC, I suspect it isn't signed properly and that it could be fixed, because the Product Life Policy has not ended yet.
But my default advise is to upgrade when possible and it seemed that solved the problem as well.
If you don't want to upgrade to ClearOS, you will have to wait for some of the developers to respond about this issue.

yum install --nogpgcheck clamav-db-0.95.3-1.1.v5.i386
Thanks, Tony. I got caught trying to help with not quite enough knowledge and not being able to test out my solution. -

Hi Francisco,

I just downloaded the iso file, burn the cd, and the installed the clearOS 5.0.
That is probably why you are not able to install it.
You are using Clark Connect 5.0 and not ClearOS 5.1 SP1...
This is how to upgrade to ClearOS 5.1 SP1:

is necesary this upgrade?
It's usually a wise thing to have the latest version, but I cannot confirm if it is required.
Compared to Windows you are trying to install a Win7 utility on WinXP, so ...
Even when (in ClearOS 5.1 SP1) you have "ClearCenter -> Software - Software Updates" set to "Enabled", according to these posts it currently does not work:
#7829
Check if you have other updates pending as well, because this could maybe solve your problem.
Otherwise I would not know and my advise would be to follow Tony & Nick's instructions to manually install it.
Good luck,

I did not mean what you did to solve the problem, but what caused it.
How did you (or maybe you didn't) install or upgrade to ClearOS 5.1 SP1 ... ?!?

My initial yum install suggestion was a bit of a guess. I've only ever done the --nogpgcheck thing from a local install, and I did not know it it would work with a remote file or if it the the way I specified the file name for the remote install was correct. The package is already installed here so I could not check.
I've just given it a go here and
yum install --nogpgcheck clamav-db
may be the correct form for a remote install. It starts doing something here but then trips up as it is already installed. -

Hi John.
1) I tried to install the content filtering module, from the web interface, and got the error that previously show here.
2) After this, I update the system, with this code "yum update", and then,
3) I tried to install the module using the web interfase, and got the same error.
4) I tried the code that gave me Nick, "yum install ....", but doesn't work
in a fews minutes I'll try using "wget" to dowload the rpm, next, install using "yum"
Tks everyone for your help.
Greetings.

Ok. Let's try downloading it first.
cd /usr/src
wget http://download.clearfoundation.com/clearos/enterprise/5.1/System/RPMS/clamav-db-0.95.3-1.1.v5.i386.rpm
yum localinstall --nogpgcheck clamav-db-0.95.3-1.1.v5.i386.rpm
You can delete the rpm afterwards.
If that fails because of dependencies, note down the missing packages, wget them from the same place and do a yum localinstall listing all the packages on one (long) line. -

Hi John, tks for your answer.
You'r right, I tried to install the content filtering module from the web interface.
Right now, I'm updating the system with "yum update", when finish it, I will try again to install the content filtering.
I installed the web proxy, but I can't enabled the content filtering, because I didn't inalled it. -

Hi Francisco,
According to your picture I suspect that you installed it with the web interface and I don't think it's a problem, unless someone else can tell you why it would be ...
It could have been an issue if for example you downloaded an unsupported version yourself with a "wget", but from the web interface it should be ok.
If not you can try to fix it with a yum update ... just don't ask me for the parameters and the exact command you need to use ... :silly:
Just make sure that you also install the Web Proxy:
Web Proxy
"If you would like to add the content filter feature, you must also enable it in the proxy."
Good luck and as you might have thought, the best thing is to get a 2[sup]nd[/sup] opinion ...

John
