Revert from Zarafa back to IMAP?
After reviewing my usage of Zarafa, I've realized that all I need is imap (no need for Kopano - the family doesn't use any of the collaboration tools - and now have smartphones for mail access instead of webmail). Is there a recommended way to revert back to cyrus-imap? I am using Home Essentials version.
Thanks in advance.

I tried to follow your directions Ben, my zarafa crashed again this morning, I can only see app-database-2.6.1 installed in my yum log.

+1 for the fix. My proc table was also corrupted somehow - I was in the process of porting mail from Cos6.7 to Cos7.2.- happened between the first sync, testing and final sync.
(I was also moving Drupal sites and other mysql databases to the new server, but don't think it should have affected the sandboxed database).
Anyway I was able to fix the issue and zarafa is now content.

It was a little confusing Ben; there is a link in the documentation to MySQL, and it suggests that it should be in the marketplace, but searching only brings up MariaDB.
I just wikipedia'd it (great word eh?) and found that it was a drop in with 100 percent compatibility. I will continue to press forward with my rebuild..

New install of 7.2 Home-Essentials
Just installed 7.2 from a download yesterday. Registered and installed apps from the marketplace.
I can't seem to find MySQL in the server area (or actually anywhere).
Only database software available is MariaDB..
Has it been renamed?

Ben; I started out with Tim's paid app, but diverged when I upgraded the webapp to 2.0.2 in order to fix some IE problems. I've had to do subsequent upgrades with the --ignore flag.
Will I still be able to try this update?
I'm planning to upgrade my 6.7 to COS7.2 (home essentials) in the near future, and figure that the latest version software would be of benefit.
I'm just building up a COS7.1 or 7.2 box (tried to download 7.2 three times, but it keeps timing out), so may just install the 7.1 then try an upgrade afterwards.
Is there an approved upgrade strategy for 6.7 to 7.x ? I can't seem to find a thread documenting it. (poor keyword choice no doubt).
Cheers

I've had a vlan tagged connection for a while now, and as Nick reports the config file will be in sysconfig.
I've never had a great deal of success with the web gui, and always did the config from the command line.
After changing anything, I always did a network restart, followed by a firewall restart.
Sorry for the delayed response, was at the Dayton Hamfest - my other "hobby" :-)
Cheers
