After reviewing my usage of Zarafa, I've realized that all I need is imap (no need for Kopano - the family doesn't use any of the collaboration tools - and now have smartphones for mail access instead of webmail). Is there a recommended way to revert back to cyrus-imap? I am using Home Essentials version.
Thanks in advance.

There is a slightly different version of the command here which allows for incremental updates without redoing the whole thing. This means you can do the bulk of your mail then, when you're happy to go live, just do a sweep up of new/moves/deletions.

The imapsync utility is your friend. While this link is for IMAP to Zarafa/Kopano, there's no reason you can't use it in reverse.

It can even be done on the same server...You just need to disable IMAP on Zarafa and use IMAPS when connecting to the Zarafa side, so you can use IMAP on the cyrus side, or simply configure Zarafa to use some alternative port than 143 during the migration.
