After a little more digging it looks like I have read the description of the plugin.
https://community.zarafa.com/pg/plugins/project/16145/developer/h44z/webapp-ical-calendar-importer
I have installed it but have no idea how to configure it for the external calendars. -

I've looked through the changelog I don't see anything about internet calendars: https://download.zarafa.com/community/final/WebApp/2.0/changelog2.0.txt
Would be nice to view other internet calendars from webapp hopefully they allow that once webapp becomes the prime browser. -

Zarafa-webapp 2.0 will be available with Zarafa 7.2 when it is launched
if you want to test in the meantime grab all the Webapp v2.0.2 RPM's from the beta tarball here
https://download.zarafa.com/community/beta/7.2/7.2.0-47829/zcp-7.2.0-47829-rhel-6-x86_64-free.tar.gz
Unfortunately there is a packaging issue with Webapp-2.0 and means that you have to use the force flag
. the previous v1.x series used an epoch:version format of 1:1.5.0...so RPM thinks the v2.0 RPM is older....rpm -Uvh zarafa-webapp* --force
service httpd restart
https://forums.zarafa.com/showthread.php?11183-Unable-to-upgrade-webapp-from-1-5-to-%28or-1-6-ok-work-%29-%28or-2-0-unable%29-with-apt-get -

I can only suggest this for clearos 6 I haven't done 5.
Download the ram and plugins you need then put them in a folder and do rpm - Uvh zarafa-webapp*
You may need to do - - no-deps or force to run it. Then restart httpd.
If you enable z files plug in and your stuck in limbo for the loading screen do.
Rm /var/lib/zarafa-webapp/tmp/*
Then restart httpd you should be good to go. Make sure you download webapp language at least if your going to download webapp. You need that as a dependency.
Also if you won't install webapp plugins download 2.0.1 that came out yesterday. It fixes issues with server over loads when no plugins are installed. -

How do I configure it on 6.4 to be accessble by going to:
mail.myserver.com instead of www.mayserver.com/webapp?

Andy,
If you just upgraded make sure that zarafa-licensed is running under zarafa and not root otherwise it won't be able to read the /var/lib/zarafa/ directory.
Restart zarafa-licensed and server and try see if outlook is working, is this with licenses? I have had this issue before with free versions after upgrading too but people that have licenses aren't effected. -

Thanks James - this is indeed interesting. We have a subscription for most of the ClearOS 5.2 packages, remote backup, content filter updates etc already so I am not sure how this all comes together in ClearOS 6.x Community versus Professional.
I am very stressed with Zarafa at the moment :-)
Just upgraded to 7.08 on the Server and then all the Outlook clients (and there are a few) started getting errors when they tried to open Outlook. I have upgraded the client to 7.08 too however still issues. Now all clients are on Webmail now as no one can use Outlook anymore.
Just about to raise this issue on the forum but this is so time consuming.

Andy you can still use your zarafa licenses on 6.3 you need to use the community version of zarafa and download zarafa-license then install the license in /etc/license/base like in 5.2 then restart zarafa-licensed service. Clearos just provide professional version for new people who have never used zarafa before you can still use your licenses. You justt need to pay the one time $10 fee to use zarafa on community version
Zarafa-backup should work too. -

Tim,
Thanks - I am still on 5.2 - just waiting for 6.x to settle down relating to Zarafa.
I have already purchased 60+ Zarafa licenses from a reseller last year and it looks like to use 6.x I need to purchase these licenses again via the App Store??? I just can't afford to do that so 6.x is going to have to wait or at least build for a trial.
Do you know if the existing license keys can be taken across in some way or perhaps this can be considered by the ClearOS team.
Its looking a great product though but the upgrade path from 5.2 to 6.x especially to get Zarafa across, allow me to forward mail to a 3rd party mail gate etc still looks like its work in progress reading the forum threads.
Best wishes,
Andy -

Hi Andy, if you are using ClearOS 6 and you have purchased Zarafa through the marketplace you can just run 'yum install zarafa-webapp'
In version 6 the default configuration is to use webacces or webapp on the normal web server, port 80/443.
The instructions on the first page of this thread are for ClearOS 5.2 - which version are you using? -

You can ignore request:
I see they have updated the version and the url structure..
wget http://download.zarafa.com/community/final/WebApp/1.1/rhel/zarafa-webapp-1.1-35292.noarch.rpm
Still not sure if I can actually get this working without the port number though???

Tim,
Went to install this again on a new server but could not locate the installation files:
wget http://download.zarafa.com/community/final/WebApp/rhel/zarafa-webapp-7.1.0-33778.noarch.rpm
Can you advise where I need to be looking now.
Also is there a way to get this to work from a customer friendly url i.e. without the port :81?
Thanks

No worries, just wondered if you had come across a similar issue!
I used the most recent version available about a week ago, and it's running from the webconfig (i.e port 81) with a proxy through apache on port 80 (so that it's accessible on a standard port)
I applied some config changes as advised for performance elsewhere, and it seems to work better from my limited testing in-house, but still times out frequently when accessed remotely - possibly some kind of bug or issue with the network card?? -

Hi Mike, which version did you install? there is nothing I can do as i'm not a developer...just provided the instructions to install it The WebApp is a work in progress so I wouldn't consider it suitable for production environments
Which port are you accessing by? you may have more success using the native port (81 in ClearOS5.2) -

Hi Tim,
I have installed this on my server, and it certainly looks better than the old webaccess. However, functionally its worse than webaccess - it seems to take longer to load, and when it finally gets there i frequently get error messages stating "The connection was interrupted"
Is there anything i can do to fix this, as it's becoming a little painful to use! -

Hello,
I was really interested by the implementation of zarafa within clearOS. The new look of webaccess is awesome and really close of Microsoft product so I decided to give it a try.
Almost everything is working as intended except the calendar. I can actually display it but i get errors each time I try to add, delete or even move an appointment.
Here are the errors :
Adding on calendar : http://img98.imageshack.us/img98/2049/err1.png
Removing : http://img26.imageshack.us/img26/3651/err2.png
Rpm installed : http://img692.imageshack.us/img692/2373/rpmrf.png
I didnt really manage to find something by myself, that's why i'm posting here, hoping someone could figure this out !
Thanks in advance and sorry for my poor english.

Tim,
Thanks alot that worked like a charm, this webapp looks amazing, I understand that thisi s quite a basic version so it doesn't allow you to send from different e-mail addresses you have delegations too at the moment but it is still a site to behold . I look forward to a more final release coming up. -

Tim,
I just tried to install zarafa-webapp and I get the php mapi error. I noticed I didn't upgrade zarafa to 7.0.6 on this server so I did but nothing has changed even after restarting zarafa-server and httpd.
I'm using http version not webconfig version so it's https://server/webapp
Is there something I'm doing wrong to get it to work? -

Tim,
Moving away from OL2010 is looking much closer with WebApp!
Is there an update for their latest version "zarafa-webapp-7.1.0-33196.noarch.rpm"??
I tried using the same instructions with the latest rpm but it didn't work out. With this error...
[root@gw1 ~]# rpm -Uvh --nodeps zarafa-webapp-7.1.0-33196.noarch.rpm Preparing... ########################################### [100%]
1:zarafa-webapp ########################################### [100%]
[root@gw1 ~]# cp /etc/apache2/conf.d/zarafa-webapp.conf /usr/webconfig/conf/httpd.d/zarafa-webapp.conf
cp: cannot stat `/etc/apache2/conf.d/zarafa-webapp.conf': No such file or directory

Updated instructions to latest 'beta' version - the WebApp is the eventual successor to Webaccess and it certainly looks the part!
http://www.zarafa.com/content/webapp
This can be installed and trialled without affecting the existing Webaccess -
