Hello all,
I did quite a lot of searching and I am surprised this problem has not been discussed yet.
I have ClearOS Community 6.6 final installed. When I add another user to the system (regardless whether a regular users, or I give him access to some admin tasks via Administrators app) then after login I only get to page that says "Nothing to see here..." and "Move along move along".
Only option available to that user is to logout.
What am I missing or doing wrong?
Thanks for your tips.
Cheers,
B.

I am seeing similar things, even with users that have some rights set via the Administrators app. It was quite emberassing when I recently wanted to brag about ClearOS' features to the boss of a company for which I am doing IT consulting stuff...
You can switch to the proper app if you manually edit the link in your browser. I was able to pull the vpn certs and config onto his computer. But it looked to geeky to him.
I also see "You do not have permission on this site CLICK HERE" (or similar) " even if the users have access to the Dashboard.
Right now, I can not reproduce these cases on the server where I had them last week. I'll take a screenshot if it happens again.
In general, I'd like to have a user-mode Dashboard for normal users per default, so that they get a "positive feeling" when they lock into the webconfig. Getting a "GET OFF MY LAWN" message on login is kind of harsh.
Oh, and while I am at it: Most users log in to download the openvn stuff. It would be nice if there was a zip package to dump into the openvpn conf dir. And maybe a Tunnelblick configuration for OSX. -

I just did a quick sanity check on a couple of (Professional Edition) dog food servers and was unable to duplicate the issue. I'll give it a try with a new Community Edition install.
