Trying to get my vpn setup and going on all my devices. I understand I need to install a user security certificate. All users are configured for vpn and certificates. When i hit the configure button its telling me “user certificates are not available for this acct”. WTH. I log my user acct in and go to the upper right menu where I have always downloaded user certificates and the menu wont open at all.

Would be nice if there a link for user logins as well. There also doesnt appear to be a “logout” button anywhere so I have to close the browser, clear the history and then open the login page and enter my user info.

Or am I missing something here

I can see the same issue on Android. I am sure it has been reported before. I'll mention it to Dave.

I can't test as I don't have an iPhone. Out of curiosity, how are you going to install the downloaded certs? AFAIK the only two ways are from iTunes or by embedding the certs into the ovpn file (see the app documentation for the alternative method) then loading the ovpn profile from an e-mail or something like that.

At some point we do intend to create an ovpn file with the certificates embedded, but it is stuck behind a certificate manager rewrite.

I think this is a bug in the mobile version. I can get user certs from my ipad and desktop. Doing it with my iphone and the menu just bounces a little but doesnt open.

As you've found out, it can be very dangerous to uninstall apps with yum. Check the dependency list carefully before you say yes. You can look at you yum log to work out what to reinstall.

I tried chrome and firefox browsers. When a user acct logs in they have the option to change the acct password and thats all. Upper right drop down menu will not open at all.
I see the logout for the root acct now. That menu opens fine. User acct menu will not open.

Click on the User Name in the top right. In the dropdown menu there is a Sign Out button

You get the “user certificates are not available for this acct” message if you are logged in as root or if the user is not set up as a Security Certificates User in the user setup, or in Account Manager > Security Certificates User > App Policies, or in App Policies in the Certificate Manager.
