Hi all,

I am suddenly unable to access the webconfig from only one of my clients (Win10).
The client has Internet access (I was able to post this from it), but I am unable to ping it from the COS box and the other way around.
I rebooted the COS box and the client, but without success.

I am also unable to access the COS box with WinSCP or PuTTy from this client.
Other clients do not have this problem.

Yesterday it still worked and it suddenly stopped working while I did not shutdown the COS box last night.
The only difference is that I did not boot the COS box with the latest kernel.
I am using the following url:
https://192.168.1.1:81

Please assist,

John

The Attack Detector and IPS are completely different apps and have different whitelisting mechanisms. Check the Attack Detector documentation and see how to whitelist your LAN.

    Thanks Nick,

According to the "Attack Detector", the local ip address attempted to do a SSHD & SSHD-DDOS recently.
When I temporary disabled these 2 I was able to connect to the Web interface from that client again, what confirmed the cause of the problem, but that is not a solution I am happy with.
Adding the local ip address to the "Intrusion Prevention System" White List did not solve the problem.

    Please advice,

    John

Has its IP been banned by the Attack Detector app?
