Hi all,

Notice was made in the 7.4 release notes, but today is the first time that three new apps are visible on all editions (Business, Home and Community) in the Marketplace.

The new apps were developed as a result of Marc Laporte and the WikiSuite community. A *big* thank you for sponsoring development and releasing free to the ClearOS Community the following new apps:

Let's Encrypt
Dynamic Firewall
Two Factor Authentication for Webconfig

WikiSuite has pretty much standardised their application stack atop ClearOS. This development is just the tip of the iceberg, but the apps (as you can see from the nature of the names) have universal appeal (security-centric) to all ClearOS users, not just if you're deploying WikiSuite.

If you benefit from these apps, perhaps contact WikiSuite and drop them a line of thanks...or even take a look at joining their community to see if you can help out.

The apps have gone through an extensive period of testing. One final thing to do is write documentation for them on the ClearOS website...that will come in the next few weeks. For now, Let's Encrypt and 2FA are pretty self explanatory. Dynamic Firewall will probably need some documentation on what it does and how it works. In a nutshell, it allows administrators to reduce their cyber-risk exposure by decreasing the number of open or forwarded ports when ClearOS is in gateway mode, yet retain the ability to remotely connect to resources (SSH and OpenVPN to start) by a trigger mechanism (think port knocking, but via Webconfig).

Thanks Marc!
