Newbe alert!
I've just installed ClearOS on a test box and I don't seem to be able to connect to the web interface. Using Firefox, when I go to 192.168.30.135:81 all I get is a "The connection was reset" page. Do you have any pointers?

What is the point of raising a ticket? Most O/S level tickets have gone unanswered since last August despite the contracted 4h or 24h response on Platinum and Gold subscriptions respectively.
Alan - Looking forward to seeing if someone in the ClearOS Server community will be able to help you. If you have a paid version of ClearOS Server you are welcome to open a ClearCARE Support ticket. -

Michael,
We have asked you several times to give us an update on the current status and futute of ClearOS.
All paid clients are not receiving any updates any more for a long time, which we are entitled to get form ClearOS. That is why we have paid for the license and are paying for it
We are not waiting on a general statement or managent language.
Just give us a specific update what we can expect the coming weeks and when do we get the necessary updates
Thanks ! -

OK, The answer to my issue is to use explicitly https as the browser defaults to http.
I did receive a couple of email notifications of posts to this thread by Georgina but they appear to have been deleted and she is now banned? I have looked into what she posted and she appears to be correct. ClearOS has had not updated since July 22 and is therefore missing a whole bunce of security updates from Centos and EPEL, including some scored to Important on the NIS and Redhat databases. It is also similarly missing stability patches and enhancements from upstream. When are these updates going to be released as they are very important? -
