Hello all,
I'm installing a ClearOS 6.7 server on a HP Proliant server. I'd like to keep an eye on ma RAID disks. For that, I'm trying to install a HP component : hpacucli.
According to the howto , I first should install the following library : yum install compat-libstdc++-296 but impossible to find it !

I had a look on internet and the only thing I found was the following :
yum --enablerepo=clearos-core install glibc.i686 libstdc++.i686
but still no luck ; package not found

Does someone know where I could find the packages needed by HPAcucli ?

Per advance, I thank you for your help

Arnaud

Are you sure about those dependencies? Why don't you let the package spec file work that stuff out:

cd /tmp
wget ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softlib2/software1/pubsw-linux/p1257348637/v71527/hpacucli-9.10-22.0.x86_64.rpm
yum --enablerepo=clearos-centos,clearos-epel localinstall hpacucli-9.10-22.0.x86_64.rpm

    Hello Ben,
    Thanks so much, it's look like so easy when coming from lilnux's guru ;) as I'm a beginner, I just looked on the web a howto to install hpacucli on a centos server and what I found told me to first installl glibc.i686 libstdc ..

    But it's look like so easy when coming from you ; it worked great :)
    Thanks again and have a nice day
