Is there a way to clone mac address so that when the server restart it won't lose the cloning? Please advise. Thank you.

How to change MAC address in ClearOS
Open the Text console
Click Ctrl F2
Type “nano /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-ethX”
- Replace ethX with your NIC
Add MACADDR= “AA:BB:CCD:EE:FF”
- Replace AA:BB:CCD:EE:FF with your New MAC Address
Save File – by Holding down Ctrl and O
Press Enter
Exit – by Holding down Ctrl and X
Type “exit”
Press Enter
Type “reboot”
Press Enter
…
After Reboot Open Text Console
Click Ctrl F2
Type ifconfig –a
Verify MAC address’s Changed
DONE.
***DO NOT USE HWADDR always use MACADDR***

I spent the better part of a day trying to get a cloned MAC address and have it remain enabled after reboot. I Hope this help someone in the future.
