Hi,
I was wondering if it might be possible to connect from a client to the ClearOS Server (Business in my case) using the 10gb network protocol which comes with Thunderbolt 3?
I have free PCIe slots, so I could install Thunderbolt 3 expansion cards.
For small office demands it seems like a cheaper solution to me than installing a 10gb network with 10gb network cards.
Thank you.
Best wishes,
Robert

Hi Robert,
I think you'll need a kernel 3.17+ for Thunderbolt and the driver does not seem to have been back-ported by RHEL into the current kernel. I don't know what will come with the 7.4 kernel, but if we get main-line kernels soon afterwards (see the sticky at the top re QoS) then the world opens up as you can start using ElRepo kernels which are much later.
