ClearOS Community 6.2.0 Release Candidate 1 has arrived! Along with the usual round of bug fixes and enhancements, RC 1 includes the following new apps: Remote Server Backup, Web Server, Certificate Manager, User Certificates, User Profile, OpenVPN and Dashboard. End users can now login to the web-based administration tool to change their passwords and manage their security certificates.

I'm guessing that lcdproc will end up in the mainline ClearOS repositories, but that's just a guess. Regardless, it will certainly be available via the source code control system, so just ping us if you can't find it. Information on packages can be found here: http://www.clearfoundation.com/docs/developer/packaging/start

As of 10:50 am ADT (6:50 UTC):
The mirror to which I am redirected, mirror2-dallas.clearsdn.com, appears to be down.
On the Houston mirror, the community/6.2rc1/iso/ appears to redirect to the same directory on the Dallas mirror, so the rc1 download fails there.
I'm having good luck with the DC mirror, haven't tried the others.
