  • I am using a older PC to create as firewall for my home network. The PC has an Intel D865GBF mainboard, 80gb Western digital SATA hard drive, DVD ROM with a Pentium 4 3GHZ processor and 1 gig of system RAM with onboard video. The installation of ClearOS 6 went flawlessly. When the install completed it asked for a reboot the computer posts and then does nothing. I try to enter the bios by hitting F2 and the screen says entering set-up but just stays there. I don't have any Linux experience. If I remove the hard drive with ClearOS on it and install another drive with Windows XP the system boots properly and I can into setup and everything works perfectly. Can someone offer any suggestions??
