Hello,
I've tried Password Policies in both the Community Edition and the Trial Pro Edition. In both instances Password Policies did nothing? I would specify passwords must be 8 characters minimum and time after time it would let me set a password well under 8 characters? How does this app work?
Also, where can I force my users to use special characters or numbers or changed case in their passwords? In my opinion, those would be very useful password policies companies should force. I'm recommending to my users to use strong passwords...would be nice if the Password Policy App in ClearOS Marketplace backed me up.
Thanks.

Charles,
I know we just chatted on the phone about this, but for the benefit of everyone using the PP app, there was a bug introduced sometime back that was recently fixed. The update is in the updates-testing repo (but will be moved shortly to updates). To install the update now, run:
yum -y --enablerepo=clearos-updates-testing upgrade app-password-policies
Cheers,
Ben
