I want to access Plex media over DLNA protocol. I enabled the DLNA feature in Plex server, which is installed on a clearOS 7.5 server. I tried to access the DLNA server using macOS VLC and a set-top-box, but neither can discover it. (Other DLNA servers in the same network are discoverable)

I thought MiniUPnP app might help. I installed the app from the Marketplace, but it couldn't start. The log is in the attachment.

My server is in Standalone mode. "enp0s31f6" interface is the one connected to the network. "br0" is an old interface that was removed from the server long time ago!

    Thank you Nick.

I removed the miniupnpd app. The "br0" turned to be a leftover of a bridge a created then removed. Its name remained in /etc/clearos/network.conf for an unknown reason!

I still cannot access the DLNA server. I'm reading about the DLNA protocol in order to know what's going on, but still can't figure it out :/

    Hi Mansoor,
Miniupnpd is a program to automatically set up port forwarding from the machine's LAN to its WAN. If you are in standalone mode it will do nothing and is best removed. I will see if I can trap the error you are seeing - presumably an interface with no IP, but It won't happen immediately.

For br0, is there a file /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-br0 left lying around? If so, please delete it. Also try "brctl delbr br0". If is says you have to down the interface first, do a "ip link set br0 down" or "ifconfig br0 down".

    [edit]
    Also remove br0 from /etc/clearos/network.conf.
    [/edit]
