Looking at my CLearOS log it appears that SQL Server was updated in the middle of the night (why?) now the service will not start and I cannot access my database.

I've tried to start the service via a command line, but it doesn't start.

The SQL Error Log says it can't find a couple of files relating to MSDBData database and the model database

Could anyone help?

Thanks

ClearOS does a nightly check for updates automatically unless you disable it. Generally updates will happen on a Tuesday night, but, if important, can happen any night.

Are you talking about a Microsoft MySQL update as I don't see any to MariaDB last night?
