Hi,

I've installed a PPTP VPN on my Clear/OS 7, everything work well.

But i need to pass the internet traffic of my client through the VPN connection, it works but the speed don't go over 3Mb/s.
It's weird my office connection goes over 50Mb/s and the client over 20Mb/s, so i don't understand this drastic restriction.

Does there is some option i'm not aware off?

I've manually configured the DHCP option in PPTP applicationto put the google DNS and let blank the WINS server but everything else is by default (we don't use DHCP on our internal network so there is no overlap possible).

Can you hep me?

Thanks in advance.

Could you have an mtu issue? You'll have to research it.

As a slight lateral jump, what is the output of:
    lspci -k | grep Eth -A 3
    uname -r

I know that, but the two connection are far beyond 3Mb/s and there both SDSL so i shouldn't have a connection this slow.

Remember the roadwarrior's download speed is limited to the lower of the roadwarrior's download speed and the server's upload speed. Similarly the roadwarrior's upload speed is limited to the lower of the roadwarrior's upload speed and the server's download speed.
