Hi

I would like some help.

We have multiple incoming ip addresses on our leased line and we need to forward these to internal servers.

Please can you advise which module we need to use to do this.

I.E.

External IP x.x.x.x which had www.domain1.com, sub.domain1.com sub2.domain1.com etc etc
pointing to Internal IP y.y.y.y.

External IP x.x.x.1 which has mail.domain1.com
pointing to Internal IP y.y.y.1

etc

etc

Regards
Pete

Have a look at Virtual Hosts and Reverse Proxies. It looks like they serve different purposes. I don't know or use either so google will be your friend, or perhaps someone else can give you guidance.

I don't use 1-to-1 NAT but I believe you can select the ports to forward to different servers. If you are talking about having multiple web servers then you have to use a reverse proxy (or is it virtual hosting) where one server redirects http/https traffic to different servers based on the FQDN requested. There have been examples of this posted on the forum.

ok, suppose, we need to have 1 ip address going to multiple servers?

So External IP X.X.X.1, going to internal ip Y.Y.Y.1, Y.Y.Y.2

    Is this possible?
