Protocol filter and application filter will not start- made sure I'm up to date and rebooted but still no luck.
I uninstalled through marketplace but that didn't work either. Seemed to retain all my settings so I'm not sure it did a thorough uninstall.
Fail2Ban and other IDS run fine.
Is there a way to force these.

I believe that when they fail to start it is a problem with the firewall element. Ehat is the contents of your /etc/clearos/firewall.d/10-netify-fwa?

To do a full uninstall, I think you have to do:
    yum remove netifyd
This will also remove the application and protocol filters.
