Hi,

we finally switched to ClearOS 7.

While creating my configurations I received exceptions.

The example below is showing the exception while deleting the config.

Ooops!
exception 'clearos\apps\base\Engine_Exception' with message '021 no connection named "IPSec-Config"' in /usr/clearos/apps/base/libraries/Shell.php:207 Stack trace: #0 /usr/clearos/apps/static_vpn/libraries/Openswan.php(466): clearos\apps\base\Shell->execute('/usr/sbin/ipsec', 'auto --delete V...', true, Array) #1 /usr/clearos/apps/static_vpn/controllers/static_vpn.php(153): clearos\apps\static_vpn\Openswan->delete_entry('IPSec-Config') #2 [internal function]: Static_Vpn->destroy('IPSec-Config') #3 /usr/clearos/framework/system/core/CodeIgniter.php(359): call_user_func_array(Array, Array) #4 /usr/clearos/framework/htdocs/app/index.php(222): require_once('/usr/clearos/fr...') #5 {main}

Best regards
Christoph

    The issue was supposedly fixed in 7.2 updates. Which version of ClearOS are you running?

    Are you trying to delete a config? if so, you can go into /etc/ipsec.d and delete the relevant conf file and secrets file. Alternatively, the bug implies that it only happens if ipsec is not running. Can you try a "service ipsec start" from the command line?

    I'll need to check my updates at home to see if the fix got released. I've tried searching the bug tracker but failed to find it. I know there is another thread but I can't search right now.

    Hi,

    yes I'm update and I can confirm that there is still a bug if IPsec isn't running.
    The error is showing while pressing save or delete.
