Hi All
I have been using PPTP VPN on ClearOS with success in the past, but now want to migrate over to something more robust.
To complete this goal, I have installed openVPN, but now the issue of changing the listening port remains.
This need to be done as there is another instance of openVPN running on the company firewall which goes to our main VLAN, this ClearOS installation is on another VLAN (lab LAN), and therefore I need to change the listening port.
How can this be done in a safe and consistent manner that ClearOS (and firewall etc) will accept as a default setting and not change anything back to defaults?
Thank you
Regards
Emil

Edit /etc/openvpn/clients.conf and change the port to something like 1195 the restart OpenVPN. Everything else is manual. If you run the firewall on your LAN you need to open incoming udp:1195 manually. Every time you download a user profile through the webconfig, they will also have to change the port in the ovpn file.
