I like the way Microsoft is changing. I think the hostility between Microsoft and Open Source is something of the past.

I build a Windows pc last summer vacation since then I follow Microsoft / Windows a bit. I must say Windows 10 is okay. Maybe the interface is a bit inconsistent but overall okay. I also have a MacBook Pro Late 2013 and d*** what is that thing expensive! On the other hand d*** what is this good laptop! Also for development purposes it's a really good laptop. When you have more Apple stuff everything is working very well together for example I can answer the phone from my mackbook or make phone calls.
