Would like to get anyones opinion on the subject of balancing MySQL across three systems...
ClearOS(5.2-sp1) = Gateway, mysql master
Server1 = node, mysql slave
Server2 = node, mysql slave
MySQL Proxy if I'm reading this correctly passes the write queries to all servers at the same time?
MySQL Replication passes all queries to master, and master replicates to the slaves.
Which is more ideal? and why.
Any links to tutorials on the best implementation for each for use with ClearOS or any Others as a guide would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
