Hello,

On a ClearOs 7 I have multiple domains that run with multiple websites;
domain0.com (default)
domain1.com
domain2.com
domain3.com

Then I want each different admin or user from the different domains to have their mailbox working in and out with their own domain. (no trace of the default domain or any other one)

bill@domain1.com
bob@domain2.com
barney@domain3.com
admin@domain3.com
etc...

Ideally i would like to have admin for the mailbox management;
User with credential to manage any domain3.com mailbox but that can’t see or touch the other mailboxes.

Thanks for helping
Bernard

PS: I read a few thread about it (Zarafa or Roundcube option), but most are old and sometimes info are contradictory.

    I have a howto on setting up a Centos7 multidomain mail server at:

    http://www.htt-consult.com/Centos7-mailserver.html

    This is on a CubieTruck armv7, but it is Centos7 which SHOULD mean that you can install the whole suite on a ClearOS7 box.

    This is an improvement on my Redsleave6 mailserver. So I have been using this sort of setup for a lot of years.

    Just note that amavis and clamav can eat up 2 cores easily.

    Perhaps it would be best to use a different solution in this case, like ISPConfig. Just a suggestion.

    The simple answer is that you will need to virtualize an instance of ClearOS for each of these using KVM, Virtualbox or some other hypervisor.

    ClearOS is designed to provide a unified authentication platform across multiple systems. Because of this it follow LDAP-centric design around a single domain. While you can set alias domains, users all reside in the same LDAP container structure. You can't have an admin over a select group of users by domain either. But if you virtualize each instance then you will get total privilege separation.

    Hope this helps.
