Why does clear think my netmask should be “root”??? If I change it to 255.255.240.0 and save it it comes back as root...

Am I the only one?

Chrome on iPad shows it wrong, but safari on iPad displays it correctly. So looks like chrome has problems.

    And is correct in ifcfg-enp7s0

So must be incompatibility with chrome. Not the first I’ve seen..

Very odd. For me it works correctly. It is not some sort of browser auto-complete? Also, when you save it as 255.255.240.0, what shows in /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-enp7s0? I also tested with Community 7.6, but app-network has not changed between 7.5 and 7.6.

Does it happen with any other values?

..... and it is best to avoid 192.168.0.0/24 and 192.168.1.0/24 or any subnet containing them.
