installing an additional NIC

Hi all,
I need to add another NIC to the system, its a Gen 10 micro HP server.
I added a NC360T dual NIC card, rebooted the system, but lost access to the server, no dhcp, no web access, nothing, removed the card and back to normal, added the card to a different slot, dead again, any ideas??

    I wonder why it is incompatible? They are both PCI-E cards. It must be some specific issue with the Microserver.

    Ok, well, made some phonecalls, the NC360T dual NIC card is not compatible with the HP Gen10 series of servers.
    the NC 361T is the card i should have purchased as this is apparently compatible with the HP Gen10 servers ;)

    lessons learnt today.
