Try using the machines hostname/FQDN instead of ip, if you enable the block ip option it does just that

    https://clearoshostname:81 instead of https://x.x.x.x:81

    Hi Peter,

    Thanks for your help.

Once i removed proxy setting from ny local PC, Icould connect to the server through web. however internet accesses was dissabled at that moment.

then i have chnages back the block IP domanins to dissabled in the general setting of content filter.

Then I am abled to connect to server with the proxy setting enabled.

    Thanks & Regards,
    Anoop

I'm not sure if you are having proxy/content filter issues, or just general firewall/network issues. Regardless, here are some tips:

    - If you have web proxy settings configured in your web browser, please make sure there is an exception for connecting to the ClearOS IP.

    - If the firewall is blocking you, login via SSH and run the following as root: service firewall stop
If you can connect to the web-based administration tool after doing this, it is a matter of trying to figure things out. On the "Network - Settings - IP Settings" page, is the Mode correct? How about the Network Roles for each of the interfaces? After making any changes, the firewall will likely start again and you may need to stop it.
