Currently our organizate has a Windows 2008R2 active directory server. The box is aged and the OS will be out of support in a couple years. I am considering a Proliant server with ClearOS but I need to maintain active directory and our Azure sync for the Office365 subscriiption. If the decision to go this direction is made, will the ClearOS directly support this? My other question deals with the subscription costs. Do the subscription costs change based upon the number of users attached to the network like Microsoft does by reqiring a CAL for each and every device that connects to the network?

Please can you contact the sales team at sales@clearcenter.com? They can give better answers. I know that subscription costs are independent of the number of users but I am not familiar with Azure Sync. ClearOS can connect to an AD server if necessary but I don't think it is what you are after.
