How can I remove duplicate files from my hard disk without deleting originals, suggest me a good tool to find duplicate files and remove them.?

    There is also rdfind which replaces duplicate files with (hard) links at the filesystem level.

    did anyone used http://www.ashisoft.com/" target="_blank">duplicate file finder from http://www.ashisoft.com because i have used almost each and every duplicate files finding software now only this one is left.Is this tool useful or not please suggest me.? http://www.clearfoundation.com/media/kunena/attachments/legacy/images/Duplicate_File_Finder.png

    Another command line option is "freedup" http://freedup.org/http://freedup.org/.

    It is command line only but I have used it to hardlink duplicates in historical backups and it work extremely well. I was impressed.

    I haven't used it so I don't have any direct experience but you could install 'fslint':

    yum --enablerepo=clearos-core,clearos-epel install fslint
