Hello,

i had swapped from standalone mode to gateway mode, and take out my router from the gateway scope, before i was able to use the aliases configured in dns server of the clearos, my internal ip of my clearos is 192.168.13.2 on my windows pc the ipconfiguration is received from the clearos dhcp server and there is in the list of the dns server the 192.168.13.2 but when i try to make an nslookup it will not return the aliases.

    In standalone mode your LAN subnet was different. Have you adjusted the entries in the DNS server to the new subnet? What is the contents of /etc/hosts?

    Ok, i think i find out the problem in the ip settings i had under the override dns setup the old dns ip on the first, place. Now i can check the aliases with the nslookup command on my windows pc.
