Hi,
i am using clearOS as DHCP server and when i check my clients they get an IP address from the DHCP but the provided Gateway and DNS servers are empty. Any idea why ? The clients are Xubuntu clients.

Confirm some very strange behaviour from the dhcp server. Gateway and DNS empty. Strangely most things still seem to work, though slowly.
Trying to determine if it is more dns/gateway issues or dansguardian/proxy. I really only want dans to scan out viruses, nothing else I care much about. Lots of strange network connection errors to outside world, disabling dans and restarting proxy service yields super broke stuff with dynamic pages that make no sense.

Update - found a windows machine and it gets dns/gateway just fine.
Rechecking nm-tool yields a proper set of info for gateway and DNS.
I withdraw my complaint about DHCP. Seems the proxy/filter is all fubar instead. -

Hello,
i'm using clearOS as a router to connect my lab's lan segments. i have a management segment 10.0.0.x and a VM Net segmet on 10.3.3.x so far so good. I wanted to use DHCP to lease Ip adresses on the 10.3.3.x segment, so i've configured it. Now my clients on the 10.3.3 segment receive an IP-address and i can see from the leases section in ClearOs that they come from the DHCP on CLearOs, but my clients do not receive the default gateway and DNS servers that i set up. Any idea why ?
