Yes, I have a subscription. I can activate automatic updates from Clear center but not from web config. Still sounds like a bug.
By the way, apcupsd causes web config to not be accessible when starting up (complains that port 3551 is not accessible). I had to log in via ssl and restart apcupsd to get access to web config. It appears the system daemon config parameters for apcupsd are allowing it to start before the network is fully up. There does not appear to be an apcupsd topic available to discuss this. Please move if necessary. -

Since he's posting in the Security Audit forum, I have a feeling it's just an issue of enabling Security Audits.
If you cannot do it via Webconfig, try logging into the portal and navigate to "System --> Remote Security Audits" and enable the service from there.
If that still doesn't work, still in the portal, navigate to "System --> System Subscriptions". Click on "Available License"...is your audit subscription there and it just needs assigning?
Still having issues? Creat a support ticket.

Are you talking about system updates or app updates. System updates are free for cummunity users. I don't know about others. Have you registered your system?
If it is an app you're talking about, have you transferred your subscription to your new server?
Some apps are no longer free for life for a one-off charge (e.g. Zarafa). Clearfoundation found the business model to be unviable. If you stay on 6.x, they remain free for life. If you upgrade to 7.x you have to pay an annual fee.
