Installed ClearOS in a VM on Virtualbox. If I want to install ClearGLASS community and I receive a error. That error is reporting to little space on my drive. I have a fixed virtual drive of 25gb so this should be enough for ClearGlass. Is this a bug?

FWIW, the RAM requirement has now been lowered to about 7GB so 8GB systems with shared video RAM can still run ClearGLASS.

I've fixed my set up. I also had problems with e-mails but have fixed them. See in the main thread.

I've waited a fair time but it never seems to resolve. I'll have to try again. Did you get python error messages in /var/log/messages at the same time?

Re the docker build, it is the latest available for Centos 7.4. There is a later version but needs the 7.5 kernel, but it still only updates from 1.13.1-53 to 1.13.1-63.

1.18 would be a problem as my installation of xfs is incompatible and keeps throwing the message:
kernel: overlayfs: upper fs needs to support d_type. This is an invalid configuration.
This is going to need some horrible file system manipulation which I am not looking forward to.

The problem I have is more basic than that. When I hit Start, it looks like it is starting then the api dies and restarts continually and a few of the other components restart. Briefly I see something like "Goto the ClearGlass screen" but if I click on it I get a 502 error. Looking at /var/log/messages I see a number of python errors repeatedly occurring.

I've seen that error but in my case I had to wait a little. I assume till all container where started.

There is a problem with mail if your ISP insists on authentication, so blocks relaying on 25. I wanted to have a crack at that one and see if I could divert the mail via postfix on the server. Ot may work but you may need to trust the LANs 172.18.0.0/16 and/or 172.19.0.0/18. This was reported but not fixed in the sticky at the top.

Okay, thanks for sharing the information. Maybe I have some time this weekend to experiment a bit.

One thing I notice the Docker version which is used is from Januari 2017 (13.1). Why so old version?? Docker CE is now on version 18.03.1!!

lol, it clearly says memory. Not sure why I overlooked that.

I can install ClearGLASS in my virtual machine. It runs and I can access the web interface. You have to register so you have to receive a mail with a code but I never received the mail. Not sure but maybe I have to setup mail on the ClearOS server.

    What problems do you have?

It requires a machine with 8GB RAM, not disk space. I specifically bought another 8GB for it (I have 8GB already, but the video is shared so reduces the amount of RAM declared to just under 8GB), but unfortunately it won't run because of a bug. I hope they find the issue or I'll have wasted my money. :(
