ClearCenter IPS updates?

Hi All,

I subscribed two servers to the ClearCenter IPS rules updates at the beginning of this month and the Last Update field indicates Thu Jan 1 12:53:38 2015. At least as far as the WebGUI is concerned, it appears that I haven't received a rules update since installation and the ruleset was generated on Jan 1. Per the App description I was expecting updates once a week. Am I missing something?

So with the update to ClearOS 6.6.0, the release notes indicate an Intrusion Detection engine upgrade, and since the release the rules are being updated again with the last one coming on February 28.

I see that as of today there is now a new update showing, but still not within the expected weekly / monthly interval!

This is a very good question and applies to my IPS Updates which show Jan 1. If an end user pays for a weekly or monthly update then it should be provided, - or else why bother to pay for the privilege??

I would add that as the renewal date of 30 March is fast approaching, it would be reassuring to see an update at some point to confirm the advisability of actually bothering to renew!
