Can ClearOS be configured as an inline transparent bridge like this configuration below.

In theory, yes. Have a look at https://documentation.clearos.com/content:en_us:kb_o_clearbox_as_a_transparent_inline_bridge, but I've never tried it. I know GM/DNSThingy has been designed to work in this mode.
