Hello,

I have 2 domains : abcDEF.com and aDEF.com
They serve a web application (Tiki) and in normal condition, both should show the (be) same.
I use the "Website" aliases in the clearOs panel to make them use the same website. (aliases for site one = www.abcDEF.com aDEF.com www.aDEF.com)

When I need to upgrade the web application, I’d like to keep one with the old version files.
Use the second to upgrade and check it is all good.
When done both should show the second and new version.

Next new version I’ll do using the first site (old files) to install the new version and so on (ping pong :-) )

I can delete each time the old website from the panel and save the files somewhere else. But I’d like to know if it possible and cleanly to keep them both.

Can you not just set up your websites as site1.abcDEF.com and site2.abcDEF.com. When both sites are the same, the aliases www.abcDEF.com and www.aDEF.com both belong to, say site1.abcDEF.com. When upgrading, remove one of the www aliases from site1.abcDEF.com and add it to site2.abcDEF.com. When you are happy with your new site, you can remove the other www alias from site1.abcDEF.com and add it to site2.abcDEF.com. Then you are free to do whatever you like with site1.abcDEF.com.
