I would check the asterisk logs to determine if the phones are registering properly

from ssh run tail -f /var/log/asterisk/full

optionaly you can get the same answer from the web gui PBX>>>PBX STATUS
then look for your EXT to be registered under "sip peers"

Yeah I didn't think I had anything enabled on the Linksys, I just port forward the necessary ports, and it worked perfectly.

But my current build of ClearOS, for some reason when I try to use TrixBox, and what the TrixBox support people tell me it's because I'm "natt'd"... they receive double pings back.

So I'm not 100% sure why that is but I'll be installing a clean system so at that point I'll figure out what I install causes the issue.

    Kevin,
Could uPnP be a difference with it enabled in the Linksys and not installed in ClearOS? I have not tried looking at the docs so this is a real shot in the dark.

    Hmmm interesting.

Yeah if I run trixbox with ClearOS at the head, I can't make any incoming or outgoing calls. When you try to call the VoIP number, it just comes up busy.

None of my Softphones work either.

However, if you remove ClearOS at the head and install a generic Linksys router, it works fine...

So I'm not sure what I have running on ClearOS that is causing the issue, I'm just in the process of trying a clean system and see if that works...

I know this is thread is OLD, but I figured I would see if you had any luck?

TrixBox, runs on a CentOS Linux, but they have a special setup, so you can't really run it "on" clearOS. You'll have to setup a virtual machine then run from there.

I'm having some trouble setting it up.

Not sure if it's the VOIP settings, or the TrixBox itself. it's making me a bit frustrated! :-)
