I have a question please engligten my question is
1. If i set CLient Lease as Static example (192.168.1.25) in ClearOS and I set 6 hours after 6 hours what is ip receive by this client same IP or Different IP since the Client side is Dynamic
2. I notice one of the client using Peachtree Sage 50 Accounting sofware this client using dynamic and if i set to static in ClearOS this client disconnected from system of PeachTree
this is a proper way to assign IP or not, static to static or dynamic to dynamic is recommended?

1 - If you set a lease to static, ClearOS will always hand out the same IP to that device but it is still controlled by DHCP, so, from the client end, it is still dynamic.
2 - You may get an issue if you set a lease to static IP which is different to the one the client has at the time. A restart of the client may force it to use the new IP.
The totally safe way to force a static IP is to do it through the webconfig making the current IP static. It is harder if you want to allocate a different IP to a client which already has a lease. You may need to stop the DHCP server and delete the lease before you assign the client a new IP.
