Hello, I'm having an issue with my Backuppc setup. Its been configured to use the smb protocol because of some previous issues I was having with the rsync protocol. I had it configured correctly until I upgraded from clearos 6 to clearos 7, incidentally to get away from another bug in samba. I've found a patch for the bug on the redhat bugzilla, but I have no idea how I to go about applying this patch. I was about knee deep in patching the source rpm for samba before I stopped and decided I know nothing about that so it was a bad Idea. My issue is that I need it resolved but I don't know enough to patch it. I was curious if someone had the same issue and had already patched a version of clearos' Samba or if someone that had more experience could lead me in the right direction. Thank you for your time.

It looks like BackupPC just released an update to fix some incompatibilities with Samba 4.3.x. We're on it. See ClearOS issue tracker for details: https://tracker.clearos.com/view.php?id=12721
