Packages that were 'missing' from the reinstall that I discovered in the Marketplace were the packages that make more sense for me now. And haing to enable them/set them to run also seemed to make a diffrence.

Thanks for giving me links to the conf file locations. Ang thanks again for the warnings about firewall rules. I have learned by experience to be careful, cautious and incremental in changes.
