There is no update in ClearOS7 or Centos7. If you want anything later you have to go a bit off-grid and you have options. You could remove mariadb and install one the rh-maraidb10? packages. I don't think you even have to remove mariadb, but they won't both run together as they both try to bind to socket 3306. Alternatively, I think MariaDB publish their own repos. Or there are plenty of other instructions on the internet on how to upgrade.
I believe with what I did earlier this year, messing around with mariadb will not mess up the systemdatabase. -
