I've just realised that I only have a Silver business subscription - I don't know if that will be a problem.

Ticket lodged. Hopefully I've done it correctly, it's the first time I've raised a ticket.

Just in case this helps, I have had a look through the error logs and the

error listed against every client ip address on the network, even though only one is ever used to connect to the webconfig. So I am guessing this is not limited to webconfig access but that is the one it is affecting.

Is there any way of rolling back to 7.3 without reinstalling ?

Also checking back through the logs, the error started on 7th November so I'm not sure if that fits in with any update. I am going to see if I can pin down any updates that happened at the same time.

I don't know if this will help diagnose the issue but if I comment out lines 288 and 289 of /usr/clearos/framework/system/libraries/Session.php I can get to the login page. However it won't let me log in (presumably because the session is not being passed forward). Un-commenting the two lines brings back the "unable to handle this request" error page.

    Hi Ben

No mail archive, to be honest I haven't changed anything for over a year.

    Hiya

I am getting exactly the same problem and error. I have no access to the webconfig, none of the pages. The standard http 'congratulations your web server is running' page is fine. the line 288 error is in my logs as well.

It has been running fine ever since install (over a year ago).

This has been like this for the past week or so. Does anyone have any suggestions that I can try to get it back ?

Many thanks for the replies Andy and Nick it is appreciated.

As the MAPI connector will be dropped (I appreciate that is beyond ClearOS control), I'm wondering what the benefit of having the Small Business version of Zarafa is then (apart from support). Does anyone know how ClearOS are going to go forward, i.e. using the Zarafa replacement Kopano or something else altogether like OpenXchange ?

    Cheers

    Upgrade questions

Hi Guys, I was wondering if someone could give me a bit of advice please.

I have a COS6.7 (Community) setup which I now want to move across to COS7.2 (Business) and I have some questions (I have searched but haven’t found definitive answers to some things).

On the COS6.7 I have Zarafa Community (with the 3 free Outlook licences) installed before Tim’s app was available but using his instructions (that very, very long thread !!). This enabled me to use Outlook for 3 users and imap for the others.

    1. Am I right in assuming that by moving to Zarafa Small Business I need to buy a licence for every user, even those that only need access to emails and nothing else via imap ?

    2. As I still have 3 users that need to use Outlook (due to a specific in house purpose) does the Zarafa Small Business supplied by ClearOS still use the mapi connector for Outlook or is it now using just ActiveSync ?

    3. Is it possible to backup the Zarafa mailstore (including attachments) from the Community version on the COS6.7 box and restore it all to the COS7.2 with Zarafa Small Business version ?

    4. Finally, for now, am I right in thinking that I can backup the COS6.7 server using Configuration Backup and then restore it on the COS7.2 and basically everything that is configurable via the webconfig is backed up and then restored on the new system ? (I appreciate that any tweaking I have done I will have to repeat on the new server)

    Many thanks in advance
