SW Raid 5, Bonded NICs issues/questions

Hey there ClearCom!

I've been attempting to consolidate my machines to cut down on my overall hardware(and power consumption) and been running into a few issues with my new setup.

First, what I'll be doing with this box: This machine will be my edge firewall on my home internet connection, DHCP server, and media server. The pieces I'm having issues setting up currently are the bonded NICs and the software raid.

I plan to use the onboard 1gb/s NIC to connect to my cable modem, and use 2 1gb/s PCI NICs bonded to an unmanaged 8port 1gb/s switch to serve the local network.
the WAN NIC is just a standard DHCP setup so no issues there. From my reading lately though, cent6 utilities changed a bit from previous versions so the bridge-utils setup for bonding is a bit different from what I'm used to.
I followed this guide to setup the bonded NICs but I'm thinking that it's not exactly what I need.Bond0 should be my static LAN and I would need to be able to setup the DHCP server for my local network devices. Some help getting that setup correctly would be great! I don't need any mac cloning or anything like that setup, just 2gb/s theoretical throughput on the LAN.

On to the Raid issue. My drive configuration: 60GB SSD-OS disk. 4 1TB HDs for storage configured in Raid5. I attempted to set this up...many times during the installation process but I just couldn't get the array configured correctly. I didn't need the raid configured to get Clear installed so I just installed with the basic configuration. The Raid setup guides on the site are broken right now with the migration to Clear7 so I couldn't find very much info on how to set this up properly. The array would only store media, maybe logs(to limit writes to the SSD), and maybe backups for my PCs and an externally hosted website.
