    Windows File History Backup Settings

I have Windows networking (samba) app installed with flexshare and i am running Home Version of clearOS so by default it forces you to use LDAP. I have a PDC named HOME running and with a few modifications to the client windows 10 pro computers i was able to join them to my domain. I assigned all users to the group HOME that i created and also assigned them to Users, domain_users and backup_operators. My question is this.

The logon.cmd appears to be working as ive noticed its enforcing the default windows groups permissions on the home users logged into clients. However when you go into back up options the ability to turn on file history back ups seems to be removed and the couple links left dont appear to work. backup_operators group is alloud back up permissions by default so not sure whats going on here. Did i miss something or do i need to add some code to logon.cmd to re enable this feature on the windows 10 pro clients.

    Looking for a set-up guide

Does anyone have a step by step for someone not familiar with linux command prompt to enable flexshare execute/run permissions. Im setup in work group mode and my client machine have corresponding logins on the server under the custom users group i created. I see the options for read and wright but no way to enable run permissions to run software installs or updates directly from the shares themselves. I usually have to copy it to the local machine and then run it which is an unnecessary pain.

    Thanks!

    Slow Speeds / Invalid servers

I am having the following issues with this app from the clearos store:

-slow speeds compaired to native apps created by ibvpn
-servers listed in the app that do not exist anymore
-servers listed that do not connect

How often is this app updated, when will the next update be. I switched VPN companies due to this handy app but now its just a pain in my neck.

I am able to get 1GB speeds at 112MB/sec for read write over the network to shares and my speedtest.net is able to pull down my full internet speeds of 150 down and 20 up.

Its only when I send connections through ibvpn that my speeds slow down to 30 down and 9 up. I applied the update you suggested.
