DHCP on DNSMASQ issue since October Update

    Greetings,

I've been troubleshooting an issue with DHCP on my Hot-LAN VLAN through my ClearOS 6.9 box for a bit and have narrowed it down to an issue with dnsmasq. My configuration has been working without issue until recently. I have noticed that dnsmasq-2.76-2.v6.2 was made available on 2017-10-03 and auto-updated on my system at some point.

In short, it simply will not honor DHCP requests. I can see the request coming into the interface on port 68 using a traffic sniffer, but they are never acknowledged by the DHCP component. I have configured an Ubuntu box in this VLAN with isc-dhcp-server and it works fine. I have attempted to uninstall and re-install the DHCP component and have attempted a reconfigureation of dhcp both through the web interface and through the use of /etc/dnsmasq.d/dhcp.conf but to no avail.

Has anyone else on 6.9 noticed issues with dnsmaq and dhcp since the update, or is this a known issue with the new version? If so, is it possible to roll back to the previous version without impacting DNS and DHCP functions of the ClearOS box?

    Thanks in advance!
    Jeff
