When I boot up ClearOS for the first time after installing and can configure my network settings via the graphics-mode console. Which files are being changed when I change the "Network Mode" to "Gateway," or specify "DNS Servers," and even when I configure my "Network Interfaces". I just need to look inside those files to be able to see how it changes for a report.
In IP Settings

Network mode goes in /etc/clearos/network.conf as do a few other bits.
IP addresses and how they are obtained go in the /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg- files, one file for each interface.
DNS Servers go in /etc/resolv-peerdns.conf
Off hand I am not sure where the flag goes to which switches them between automatic and manual DNS servers.
If you use PPPoE I am not sure where the settings go.
