    kmod drivers survive kernel updates so you don't have to recompile. You may have to recompile for ClearOS 7 as it goes up from kernel 2.6.32 to 3.?, but for the small updates to the ClearOS 6.x kernel you are fine.

    had to compile driver and then install new rpm.

    will i have to compile a new driver for each new kernel???
