Everything is running fine except the SSL-certificate for https:// is made for another subdomain which is not active.
I can access his site on his ordinary domain or IP with https but have to accept the (wrong) certificate which only Firefox is allowing.

I used Firefox on your working www. domain, accepted the faulty certificate and came to the login page, so it should work.

Can you ping your IP address? If so, do you have Putty installed on your remote work station? Access your shell command prompt from a terminal as root and do
    systemctl status webconfig.service
    and also
    systemctl status httpd.service
and see if they're running. You can do
    systemctl restart httpd.service
    and/or and
    systemctl restart webconfig.service
. You'll have to check your logs under /var/log/httpd and var/log/webconfig, respectively for indicators if either service isn't starting. WinSCP is your friend to do this.

Did you reply in the wrong thread ? :)
I think either your SSL-certificate or subdomain is wrongly configured, depending on what you want to acheive. They are not consistent so you get an error for missing site or invalid cert depending on subdomain.

Is this still a problem? If so, how are you entering the url?
